After the boat trip everybody was so excited ......
The whole day was spent at school. The Czechs were waiting to welcome us outside the building on their project T-shirts! (brr! it was freezing cold)
We all attended an excellent presentation on their school and their educational system! The tour around the school in teams was really incredible!
And then participated in different workshops. (Here we are having fun making our own Christmas cookies)
An introductory lesson on hockey! (A totally new experience for Greek students....)

Tuesday 1.5.2012
On Tuesday we woke up early in the morning. It’s true
that it’s really difficult waking up early, but that day was an exception as we
all knew we would have a great time! So, in the morning, we (the Greek team)
gathered near the school waiting the bus with the other teams. When were all
ready, we took our T-shirts with the logo of the project and started our
excursion. The weather was sunny and warm, and generally everything was just
perfect for it! On truck for the ancient theatre of Lavrio we had a lot of fun
listening to music, singing and, with the help of Ms. Kyrmizaki, converting our
T-shirts.
When we arrived at the ancient theatre Ms. Kyrmizaki told us about
its history, we stayed there for a while exploring the nature and then we went
to the Cape Sounio. There, we just saw and were informed about the temple
of Poseidon –we couldn’t visit it because of the national holiday on 1st
of May.
After we were informed about the history and myth behind the temple, we
listened to Nikoletta reading us about a very famous Greek poem, while gazing
the amazing view of the Aegean Sea. After all those things it was midday and we
had to eat something, so we visited the port of Lavrio, where we ate, had a
walk and played volleyball in a small square. But nothing had finished yet! It was really warm and we
all wanted to go to the beach.
On truck for the beach, the Czech team came in
our bus and we had a lot of fun listening to music and dancing and singing! When we arrived at the
beach, all the other teams were ready and equipped to go swimming, except of
the Greek… But that didn’t stop us, we swam with our clothes! We stayed a lot
of time at the beach, swimming, walking and playing volley.
The whole day was exciting but in the end we were all
more than exhausted, so on the way back most of us were sleeping in the bus!
